The DWD Creatives & Influencer Program is a development space for black and brown disabled women who want to grow as storytellers, creators, and digital leaders. Some participants come with platforms. Others come with passion but no audience yet. All are welcome.

DWD provides the stage, tools, and community to help emerging creators build their voice and visibility with confidence.

To cultivate and elevate new and emerging disabled creators by offering:

– A platform to be seen

– Skills to grow their digital presence

– Support to shape their creative identity

– Opportunities to practice and build influence

– A community that affirms their brilliance

This program is about developing influencers, not just recruiting them.

Influencers-in-training engage in:

– Sharing DWD content as they build their own voice

– Practicing storytelling, style, and creative expression

– Learning how to show up consistently and authentically

– Participating in campaigns that help them grow

– Using DWD’s platform as a launchpad for their own

This is a learning space — not a performance space.

Participants receive:

– A built-in platform to amplify their content

– Guidance on messaging and storytelling

– Share-ready graphics, captions, and templates

– Opportunities to be featured on DWD channels

– A supportive community of peers

– Occasional project-based collaborations

This is where emerging creators become influencers.

This program is designed for:

– Disabled women and nonbinary people of color

– Individuals who want to grow as creators

– People who may not have a platform yet

– Creatives who want to build skills and confidence

– Anyone who wants to use their voice to shift culture

Whether you’re brand new or already building — you belong here.

1. Participants express interest

2. They receive our messaging guide and starter toolkit

3. They begin sharing and practicing using DWD content

4. They grow their skills, voice, and influence over time

This is a development journey, not a performance.

Many disabled women of color are powerful storytellers — but lack access, visibility, or mentorship.

DWD fills that gap by building a pipeline of creators who will shape culture, media, and representation for years to come.
