Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilities deserve safe spaces to connect, build community, and access empowering support. DWD’s PrideAbility Program was created to meet this need.

We define DIVAS as Dynamic, Illuminating, Victorious, Achieving Sistas who show up unapologetically to reshape what disability looks like because we are DIVAS who show up in our respective spaces authentically, boldly, proudly, disabled, and unafraid.
Supporting DIVAS with your generous donations and support allows PrideAbility to accomplish our goals of:
1. Providing community and belonging through our private Facebook page and our monthly community engagement meetings exclusively for disabled women, including LGBTQIA+ women.
2. Offering opportunities for our creative network of disabled Black and Brown DIVAS to be Inclusively represented in sources of mass media and popular culture by being a go-to source for directors, producers, and photographers seeking to purposefully tap into our talented network
3. Providing mentorship opportunities for all community members.
